దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఓనం పండుగ జరుపుకునే ప్రజలకు రాష్ట్రపతి శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలుపుతూ ట్వీట్ చేశారు. అందరికీ ఓనం శుభాకాంక్షలు! ఓనం పండుగ మన గొప్ప సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వానికి చిహ్నం అని మరియు కొత్త పంట రాకతో ప్రకృతి మాతకు కృతజ్ఞతా భావం తో పండగ జరుపుకోవడం ఓనం ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం అని ఆయన అన్నారు. సమాజంలోని బలహీన వర్గాల ప్రజలను జాగ్రత్తగా చూసుకుందామని, COVID-19 తరిమికోట్టేందుకు, దాని నుండి దూరంగా ఉండటానికి మార్గదర్శకాలను అనుసరిద్దామని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

Onam greetings to everyone! The festival of Onam is a symbol of our rich cultural heritage and an expression of our gratitude to Mother Nature at the arrival of new crop. Let us take care of people from the weaker sections of the society and follow guidelines to contain COVID-19.
